How can I make my USB speakers work?

I recently bought some speakers. [Durabrand 2.0 CH USB powered system speakers] are supposedly PnP however, when I connect both the USB and sound card in your computer does not connect well. I have a USB flash drive I have tried with the same USB port I am using and it does not detect, so I do not think the USB port is screwed. Can anyone help please?

You might Tring using too much power. Some USB ports have full power (500 mA), others not. Try another USB port, or use an AC adapter with speakers to see if it works. (To check, My compter click the Device Manager devices, click on the USB hub (s), Power tab) You can add a powered USB hub if this is the case. Also - try the speakers on another PC. It can be bad!
