New Car Speakers Keep losing bass?
I have a Mustang GT convertible with a 460 ® MACH stereo system. This system incorporates speaker components front, rear 5.25 "speakers, 6 CD changer in dash and a power amplifier which feeds the speakers. The speakers were pretty good, but I wanted to upgrade so I brought to Best Buy and install them 62.9iy 682.9 CF Inifinity Kappas (keep the public from the tweeter components). Sound good but after the bass beats of the serious cuts from the front speakers. I'm getting a little annoying since I enjoy listening to my music loud modest. Does not have something in mind here? Are not aftermarket speakers rated by the amount of RMS or peak power amplifier provides values? Or does this something to do with Ohm resistance?
Mach audio system is a royal pain in the ass to work. If you want replacement equipment other than subs only, you need to gut whole system and start from scratch. If I remember correctly, the amplifiers are built to work in either an unusually high or low impedance that is not aligned with any anything made by aftermarket manufacturers today. In addition, it makes little sense to me why you should replace the midrange driver a 2-way coaxial tweeter but leave the original unchanged.
