s / PDIF conversion to stereo RCA cables m possible?

I have a blue ray player on my computer (HP m9269f), actually two players and a blue ray writer. My computer has outputs 3.5 mm (a composite of audio and 3 for rear / side speakers, respectively) and other s / PDIF digital audio output. I wanted to connect the audio output on my computer on 3 Bose 2 1 system, but has no audio inputs that accept either 3.5 mm or cable / PDIF. I think my best bet is to find converter as / PDIF cable (not the computer) AM stereo RCA cable (input accepted by Bose)? Is this correct? The HDMI connection between the computer and the Bose does not work for this purpose .. Nor hope that since it appeared out jack to the end of the Bose DVD playback on a TV.

I think all what you really need is a 3.5mm adapter for RCA connectors. Depending on how long of a career do you want male or female ends to add an extension or not. These are available at most electronics stores for less than U.S. $ 10. Here is a list of links that might be of use.
