What kind of amplifier should I get for my audio system?
I have 2 JL 15's that can handle 350W each and every speaker eminence door. Im wondering what kind of amplifier should i run with these, a monkey and the bridge of the submarine, and an amplifier for the speakers of the door, or one of 6 channels? Not sure, any help ...?
If your subs handle 350 watts RMS, find a nice 2-channel, 600-700 watts RMS amplifier and resolve it. I do not care what they say about it, will work equally well and a 2-channel amplifier will leave more money in your pocket. I have a set in my Jaguar insain-2002 with two submarines and use a 2-channel amplifier in bridged mode and it sounds perfect and strong. As for the door speakers to go, if not often have passengers in the back seat, there really is not any need to upgrade the rear speakers, since you only need the fuller, stronger sound on the front for you. If you're like me, then of course going to replace your front speakers and rear door speakers and components separately to add a 4-amp to power them. This actually make it stronger, but more particularly for rear seat passengers, but it's good to keep them entertained with rear sound quality too. All you have to do is you Mr. Match Your subs and speakers RMS of operation with RMS amplifier output. This allows the amplifier to operate at the best and the subwoofers and speakers for its better that way, without distortion. Just nice, clean, loud sound! Fun to hook up!
