How do I connect my TV, surround sound, cable box and DVD audio?
I have a Toshiba LCD TV, surround Genesis, cable box and DVD / VCR. The cable box is connected via RGB and audio output to TV. The DVD / VCR is connected via standard video cables to the TV audio. Everything works as it should. I am trying to connect the Genesis surround sound, but can not get it to work. Genesis only audio (red connections and white) to dvd, cd-aux-, and mp3. Cound I just run audio cables from your TV's audio output to the auxiliary connections on the surround receiver. My question is, how I can get everything to go through my surround sound instead of the TV speakers?
Connect the DVD and video decoder and audio cables the TV. After connecting the audio output from TV to surround sound. Another way is to connect everything in surround sound then connect the sound to the TV
