I have 2 12 "Kicker L7 and want to know what is best for the speakers. I want them strong enough.?

I think they are 4ohm. Not sure whether.

Worry about feeding the amp enough to push them. If the total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you must: 1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator 2. Upgrade to a heavy workload of the deep cycle battery 3. Updating the "Big 3" - consisting replace the power cable between the battery and alternator, the battery ground to the chassis and the ground strap from the engine / tranny to the chassis with at least 1 / 0 AWG. If you do This will result anyway, and replace the alternator will eventually fail. The only time a second battery is useful is if the audio system for use with the car. A cap is good only insofar as the audio system is not trying to throw too much of the wiring. A cap does not provide more power, is designed to "harden" the strain on the amp, nothing more. If the current is not there, a cap will not help. The alternator must have at least 20% more amperage power the entire vehicle and sound system combined for a cap to be of benefit which is ironically the same requirements for an amp to be efficient.
