AV Receiver, which brand?
Hello people out there I live in India, I Palnning to establish a home theater system and looking out for good AV receivers, im confused to choose between Onkyo and Pioneer, my buget is $ 500 (without speakers), I will not specify any model or so just tell me what of these two brands offer better sound quality and reliability
Both brands are good, quality and reliability are big with both. Onkyo usually have a sound brighter, while the pioneers are known to have a warm sound. It is a matter of preference. But honestly you will probably get a little more for their Onkyo money. However, the receiver is the main factor when it comes to quality sound, it is your speakers. And if your speakers are rubbish, none of these receptors good sound. Just something to consider.
