Pioneer Speakers 6×8
Pioneer Speakers 6x8
Do I need an amplifier?
Pioneer 6 1/2in speakers have 4-way in my truck and I get 6X8 4 ways to the rear of the truck also. I have a Pioneer CD deck that say it has a 200W amplifier built into it, but I'm not sure if thats enough to feed two sets of speakers. The output of the 6X8 and 260W peak 50W RMS and 6 1 / 2 's peak output is 280W and 50W RMS amplifier should I buy? Always check the power in the form of watts RMS. Pico does not mean nothing because both speakers are clearly two different values of maximum and are 50 watts RMS. It would be best to get a 50 watts RMS x 4 amplifier for the four speakers. See my site for more information - http://spkrbox1.spaces.live.com
