Can I connect my speakers to the TV tower?
I have an OMEGA iTower I have purchased from Sharper Image, is a fairly new model and I was wondering if I could connect to my TV that way the sound coming out of the place iTower bar is not as great speakers connected to your TV. The iTower has a port on the back it says video * * I have no idea what it does, but there are only two ports on the back, one for the power cable and video * other * one.
The video port is going to display the output iPod Video. In order to connect more than you need a converter iTowers port as one of them http://www.cablejive.com/inputcable.html http://cgi.ebay.com/ipod-Female-Dock-Connector- a line-en-3-5mm-input-Cable_W0QQitemZ350096502482QQihZ022QQcategoryZ32833QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 and connect to the headphone output on the TV. The other option is to make your own using this guide http://pinouts.ru/PortableDevices/ipod_pinout.shtml pinout. Nor is garunteed to work and both can damage the speakers.
