First Baptist Church of Chesnee will celebrate its 100th anniversary on Sunday at a 10 a.m. service. Speakers will include former pastor Troy Gregg and the Rev. Greg Mathis of Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, N.C.
Will this amp blow these subs?
Ive already got two alpine type r's but are needing two low wattage 10's. Im wondering if this low end 800 watt, 180 RMS amp will blow them.
The subs are Kicker c10s rated at 300watts max and 150 RMS. As stated the amp is 800watts but isnt true considering it only puts out about 180 RMS. Do you think that the amp shown below will blow the speakers below.
Im showing two sets of speakers below, which set would you chose. And remember Im putting it with the low end amp. Which set would work and sound best with this particular amp shown?

If the amp powers the subs more that 10% over RMS, that's not good.
