Can the speaker wires to my alarm clock radio lights instead of power?
Will separate if the speaker wires from my alarm clock radio and welding power source of a small electroluminescent lighting controller? Or do I have to find a different power source? Or do I have to convert the voltage?
It depends on the power and voltage of the lights and alarm clock. The lights should be easy. Must say the focus or the box or somewhere. The clock will be more difficult. Use a multimeter to find tension. WORK TO BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH ELECTRICITY LIVE !!!!!!!!! I hope YOU ARE NOT dumbass. A multimeter can buy cheaply at Walmart and will be suitable. You need to connect the meter in series with the speaker of operation to find the amperage output. Amps x volts = watts. If the voltage source is the same as the requirements of the lights, and there have more amps then required then go for it. If the lights attract more amps then speakers then nix the idea and go with more cables, and a source of greater power. If you try to connect the cables to be heated more than it could produce a fire. If doing this with 120 current Housholder really should have help Somone who knows what he is doing because a lot of things that could go wrong and a lot of ways to kill yourself. Do not touch any uninsulated wires, and not touch any capacitors.
