How can I get the sound from my PC to the TV via DVI to HDMI cable speaker?
Ok so I have an HD4870 in my PC and my PC is connected my MONITIOR with a DVI connection from my video card and my TV is connected to the other DVI connector HDMI connector on the TV. The problem is that I am the only sound on the speakers of my PC. How can I get sound through the speakers of my television? The audio cable?
You're going to have to split the signal from the PC, and find a widget that will allow the audio input on your TV. DVI is a unique digital video signal, the audio must be done separately. There are few divisors of 3.5 mm, and have seen an end to male 3.5 mm red / white RCA ends to use on television. Try a dollar store first, you may get lucky. Right now, the little audio cable goes directly from the PC to the computer, right? NOTE: This is what I try to do in your situation. I do not know if it will work, or even if it is good advice.
