Speaker Recommendations: How can I play my music at full volume without ringing?

When I play music I get heavy bass ringing and distortion, both in my stereo and my computer speakers are Logitech x230 (and even in my car for that matter). Most of my music on an iPod, so I'm wondering if anyone can recommend good speakers that allow you to play loudly without distortion or buzzing. Or if you can recommend solutions awhole new stereo would be good too. Grrr. Thank you!

Simple answer is to lower the bass. The car can have speakers loose, but you probably can not consolidate everything in your car. Make sure the iPod recordings are of better quality. Best speakers for your car and if they can afford Bose stereo. Put all the speakers in the carpet (including samples of carpet and foam to help absorb vibration), have nothing loose in or near them, make sure the enclosures are solid. Your bass is going to vibrate all around, therefore, the buzz could come from neighborhoods that remain on your desktop or your lamps and ceiling fan. That's why the special rooms are used by professionals.
