Apple Tablet: Content Will Be Key
On January 27, Apple is holding an event to unveil its "latest creation," which is expected to be a 10-inch touchscreen tablet. Apple's rumored device has been generating a lot of buzz and excitement, but it's not clear yet whether tablet excitement -- assuming that Apple really is unveiling a tablet, of course -- will turn into tablet dollars at the cash register.
How can I play songs on my iPod video G5 in my old car audio system (not CD)?
Spark Hello again, Ok, here we go: To get the music from your iPod to play on your car stereo (I'm assuming it's a cassette player) that you can do two things: 1. You can obtain an audio cassette adapter. This is basically a device that looks like a conventional tape, but has a wire that comes out. At the end of the cable is a audio mini-jack that connects to your iPod. Emerging in the cassette tape player in your car, plug the cable into the iPod headphone jack, press Play on the player, both the tape and the iPod and go! Instant Music. You can get cassette adapters manufacturers such as Griffin (http://www.griffintechnology.com/) O Belkin (http://world.belkin.com/) but I got mine at a local electronics store (for much less money) and am very happy with it. 2. If you want to end the wire that inevitably comes with the cassette adapter, you should consider an FM transmitter for iPod. This small device plugs into your iPod and turn your iPod into a miniature radio station! All that you need to do is find a radio frequency that your car is not used by a commercial station, set the frequency of FM transmitter and ready! you have their own small direct broadcast radio to your car stereo. You can even use the FM transmitter at home, synchronizing the FM stereo receiver. No more cables! A note however: FM transmitters have a limited scope and power. Their performance tends to vary depending on radio signals are so strong of local radio stations. If you go on a long trip, you may need to change the transmission frequency on the transmitter to your iPod multiple times if the local stations to begin The cut in this, there are some very useful comments on the FM transmitters at iLounge (http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/accessories/) And the two companies that I mentioned cassette adapter for sell FM transmitters. Hope this helps. Happy listening!
