This is what I want to buy. I have a 1997 Plymouth breeze Audiobahn Car Audio "alum" 12 "Car Subwoofer 2000 Watts Max all for 719.96 out the door .... Audiobahn is a great brand. The cable kit 10 gauge is too small, try a cable kit 4 or 2 gauge. NEVER go for peak watts MAX or how are you are marketing tools. Watts RMS is an accurate representation real power. ________________ Side note: if the total system power is 1000 watts RMS or more, you must: 1. Upgrade the alternator to a high output alternator 2. Upgrade to a heavy workload of the deep cycle battery 3. Update the "Big 3" - that is to replace the cable between the battery power and alternator, the battery ground to chassis and engine ground strap / tranny to the chassis with at least 1 / 0 AWG. Failure to do this will result in replacing to them anyway as the alternator, possibly not. The only time that a second battery is useful is if the audio system to be used with the car off. A cap is only good so far as the audio system is not trying to throw too much of the installation electric. A cap does not provide more power, is designed to "harden" the voltage to the amp, nothing else. If the current is not there, a cap will not help. The alternator must have at least 20% more amperage power the entire vehicle and sound system combined for a cap of benefit which is ironically the same requirements for an amp to be efficient.
