Best way to connect Creative 7.1 speakers PC T770 Toshiba 32 "LCD HDTV?
I have a set of Creative speakers T770 7.1 for PC a few years ago (hard to find information on creative.com now) I want to connect a new Toshiba 32 "HD LCD TV 32AV500U. Speakers have 4 1 / 8 size headphone jacks, I managed to convert to 1 headphones, then split to 2 RCA connectors through a series of adapter cables to connect a DVD player. Fills the room with sound, but I know I've lost all ability to surround in doing so. The TV has 2 (1 game) RCA audio output and digital audio output. I would like to connect the speakers to the TV and keep some of surround sound, even 5.1. I know nothing about adaptation of 4 1 / 8 digital audio headphones, in case you still mix them up a sign or if I can keep them apart. My other option is to buy a receiver if anyone can recommend one (more) to allow me to connect the outlets 4 1 / 8 of headphones and use the option of digital audio output for best quality.
Go shopping Fint the best and a cheap surround receiver 100-150.00. No matter what they say does not get one with plugs Banannas! idendtify Banannas can plug and screw things in rear entry speaker. You have to buy plugs Banannas use and are expensive! So look for the style you press the little button down and attach the cable in.
