Edifier HCS5640: Hitting the right notes
IF you want to wake up the neighbours, the Edifier HCS5640 5.1-channel speaker system is just what you need.
I am in need of help. Why did the speaker not working?
My model is Edifier speaker. Its output is a USB cable. You can use me until recently I bought a new stereo headset with microphone using the USB output as well. I can use both, until my computer can not detect any loudspeaker. When I see through the sounds and audio device configuration, says that no audio device. Sample Modem # 0 line playback as my default speaker and microphone output. But when I open Windows Media Player to play a song, I heard through my speakers Edifier. When playing movies on YouTube, I can not hear any sound. There is no speaker icon in the taskbar. Please tell me what's wrong with my computer.
If you are using Linux, just run the HW manager and select your device. But if you are running one of Microsoft products, then it is a little complicated: 1. Open the Start menu 2. Click Control Panel 3. Double-click Sounds and Audio Devices' (or something) 4. Select the audio tab 5. Change the default audio device that you want.
