help! Kenwood KDC-x789 head unit?
I have the x789 head unit-kdc. I can not get the cover out of the front and rear speakers. amplifier is activated in the menu ... any ideas on how to enable the powered speakers? RCA preamp outputs work well. I'm trying to create a third set of speakers. the first 2 games are running out of my amp powered by the front and rear RCA. I'm trying to run the third game of the stage decks, but I can not get any output on the front or rear channel. adjustments are structured so I wonder if I have incorrectly set if the internal amplifier is problems. adjustment is dependent on so many other settings. Not sure if I let off something else. on the menu, while in standby select i AMP: ON. when i return to the setting shown is in ON.
If you are sure that the internal amplifier is via the menu, then I suspect that the amplifier Internal fried. You can try to go through the site Kenwoods support. You can also try a local store to make sure they have created the platform properly. I have 2 KDC-X789, which are a bit confusing menus. I'd be very surprised if the internal amp is gone.
