Apple Is Said to Consider Expanding AirPlay for Streaming Video
Apple Inc. is weighing an expansion of its AirPlay audio service to include streaming video from an iPhone or iPad to television sets, according to two people familiar with the project.
HDTV - Sony's Blu Ray - want to add speakers?
I have an HD plasma TV with 3 HDMI ports, a BDP-S550 Blu-Ray connected to Sony one, SKY + HD for 2 and Xbox 360 to third. Im wanting to buy some home theater speakers to connect to use with the 3. My problem is all the equipment home theater I've seen come with a DVD drive to connect the speakers also do not want, need or have space for, is there a way around this for speakers only and that is also connected TV or blu ray or am I miles? As recommended I look for an AV greeted 3 HDMI inputs, one in particular is the Sony STR-DH800, but the speakers need ... Is there anything in particular, i need to be looking
Your best bet is to buy an A / V, Sony has 1 for about $ 300 at crutchfield.com. No speakers though. You will not find a good quality of many A / V reveivers that come with speakers. Those who have already built DVD players generally do not have extra HDMI connections. With an A / V receiver with 3 HDMI ports can connect all three directly in have a receiver and surround sound quality that beetter froma ny three sources and only one HDMI cable going to your TV instead of 3. I have not seen any of the smaller sets Receiver with speakers, but no DVD player that also include HDMI. I have the Sony STR-DH700 (7.1) and has 3 HDMI inputs (each specifically labeled directed by satellite, DVD and Blu Ray, you can put the DVD for the Xbox 360. It also has coaxial and optical extras can also be assigned.
