I am trying to connect V730 Yamaha AV amplifier, LG KP-750 micro Television & Energy 5.1 speakers. I can connect to opitcal audio output from TV to the audio optical amplifier and a good sound. Or do I have to run all audio and video connection through the amp then to the TV, thanks in advance
It is usually better for run the components directly into the amp instead of through the TV, some TV to pass along the audio sometimes not, but even if it does there is some degradation, such as audio electronics TV might not be as sophisticated as the receivers are ... you want to do this especially for a Blu ray player as blu ray has true high-definition and other formats that the television is not capable of transmitting ...
