iPod Nano 5G Speaker Question (won't turn off)?
I recently bought an Ipod Nano 5G. According to the manual, this Ipod can hold up to 8GB worth of music and video. I was playing around with this device and noticed that the music I was listening to was being amplified from the Ipod itself, and not from the earphones. I thought that I could simply disable the internal speakers by changing the volume limit, but I didn't have any luck.
The only way I can listen to my music through my earphones is by turning the volume limit to "0". Thing is, now I cannot adjust the volume of my song. It stays the same volume, no matter what I do to it.
So, basically, I either have to deal with people being able to hear my music from a distance, or listen to music from my earphones but stick with the same volume, whether I like it or not.
Help?
Appearantly a lot of people have been having this problem. Apple suggests that you make sure the headphone cord is "flush" with the iPod. I don't actually know what that means, but I think it means you have to push the cord in a little bit more harder.
