It was winter in California. Sort of.
Can I connect the TV or surround sound stereo receiver?
The same question may sound funny. I have a home theater, but it's old (Like 10) and the sound is not great. My basement is already equipped with several Bose speakers that I use for my Ipod and other stereo equipment. I like to be able run TV sound through the receiver and speakers have already set up for stereo instead of buying a new home theater. The problem is that the stereo receiver and entertainment center are located at opposite ends of the recreation room. Do not want to re-run all the speaker cables that I have done and I can move the system TV closer to the receiver, due to the configuration. I've looked at the Rocketfish Wireless HD Starter Kit, but I do not know if it would work or if you can do whatever he wants. Any ideas or recommendations?
all you need is a cable to run the TV audio signal to the receiver. it is NOT necessary to rewire all speakers that are connected to the receiver. if you have a home theater receiver can use toslink optical or coaxial digital connection. digital coax is the same as the RCA (phono) connectors and is easy to buy a 50foot or more threads. if sa stereo receiver, then only two of these cables (red and black) easy to make and correct operation television receiver IMO is easier and better.
