Midnight Madness The Children of Destiny will have their second Midnight Madness at 8 p.m. Saturday with speakers the Elder Rodney Singletary of Florence and minister Sharmar Biggham of New Jersey. Youth and young adults are invited to come and take part in these services.
Why would God speak through speakers, HDTV 1000 + years ago, but the bible of paper?
Good question. If I were an omnipotent deity, I definitely consider the use of a deadly phenomenon that had not yet discovered (obviously have to go to my omnibenevolence, because information retention is cruel) in order to prove a point. Even Mrs. Bedonebyasyoudid (from "The Water Babies") built a camera before anyone else invented photography (though of course it was something Charles Kingsley have been known, three-dimensional moving images of color would have been more impressive, though perhaps less credible to the target audience. Remember that this is a work of Pagan / Christian allegory crossing, not science fiction.) However, if I was a mortal of a particularly sadistic (but nonetheless a limited imagination) trying to intimidate my fellow human beings in the presentation writing a book about a spiteful and vengeful deity that created fans imperfect human beings and then set about punishing the sick for fun, I could find myself obliged by the technology available to me.
